A B Court & Associates is a structural, seismic and sustainable design engineering firm specializing in seismic studies and retrofits, historic building rehabilitation, new building design, project reviews, engineering investigations and post-earthquake investigations.

We have more than 30 years experience in San Diego and throughout California and have gained wide recognition for our seismic engineering expertise, particularly with retrofits of many of San Diego's historic landmark structures. We focus on finding innovative, cost effective and sustainable design solutions for both rehabilitation projects and new building designs. We enjoy working with both public agencies and private clients, with architects, building owners and contractors. Our senior principal, Anthony Court, has played a leading role in California in the development of new performance based seismic design and sustainable design guidelines and now in merging the two, through both his professional technical activities with the Structural Engineers Association of California and the Applied Technology Council and through his major project work.
